With the continuous development of science and technology, AI tools represented by ChatGPT have brought numerous conveniences to people’s lives and learning. However, every phenomenon has its dual nature; while these tools provide benefits, they also introduce various negative impacts and have sparked considerable controversy in society. The emergence of ChatGPT in the era of artificial intelligence presents both opportunities and challenges for college students’ learning. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of ChatGPT and proposes corresponding strategies to ensure the rational use of AI technologies, avoid dependency, and effectively enhance college students’ learning abilities and overall quality.
