Translation theory is an important part of translation studies. As the widely used translation theory, it has a strong and unique vitality, which not only promotes the development of translation studies, but also points out the direction of translation studies. On the other hand, interlingual translation can be developed rapidly with continuous improvement. This article objectively reveal the research situation of interlingual translation internationally. By employing the 445 articles sourced from the core collection database of Web of Science and aided by Biblioshiny, a visualized bibliometric analysis of aboard studies on translator’s style was conducted from aspects, like main information, annual scientific production, source dynamics, authors, key words, thematic map and trend topics, point out the problems of the development of the interlingual translation, There are too few core figures in the research team, the content of applied research is relatively single, and most of the research focuses on the theory itself and literary translation. Therefore, some suggestions have been put forward. Researchers should continuously strengthen communication and cooperation, and use a broader perspective to study the theory, and hope for to provide experience and direction for the future study of interlingual translation.
