Abstract

This paper explores the integrated application of PBL (project-based learning) and CDIO (idea-design-implementation-operation) in exhibition design courses. The paper analyzes from the aspects of curriculum design, subject correlation, engineering practice, and reform strategies, and points out that although PBL and CDIO share common values and educational strategies, they only have partial intersection in implementation. Practice has proven that these two teaching methods can complement and effectively combine with each other, thereby significantly improving the teaching quality of exhibition design courses.
