Since the beginning of the 21st century, the role of import trade in a country has been generally recognized. Import trade makes full use of the comparative advantages of other countries to alleviate the comparative disadvantages of the country and improve the welfare of residents. Service imports and employment in the 30 countries of the world have been increasing, and the growth rates of the two have changed similarly. Research shows that service industry import trade has a significant positive impact on employment, gross domestic product and final consumption expenditure have a significant positive impact on employment, and goods imports and real effective exchange rates have a significant negative impact on employment. Considering the 2008-2009 financial crisis, research shows that the crisis changed the impact of service imports on employment. In order to play the positive role of service industry import trade in promoting employment, improve the crisis response capacity of service industry import trade and improve the crisis response mechanism, it is necessary to use policies to vigorously develop the service industry and service trade, and then create new jobs.
