The traditional teaching mode has led to a widening gap in English listening ability of students in grade 9. Stratified teaching method, which pays full attention to the differences of students, can effectively improve the status quo. This study selects 105 students from Grade 9 in Licai School, Longhu District, Shantou, as the research objects, and conducts a quantitative and qualitative analysis before and after the implementation of stratified teaching method.
